Yes! The Free plan is completely free forever — no credit card needed, no time limit. It supports up to 200 products, 2 users, and includes the POS terminal and basic inventory. You can upgrade anytime as your business grows.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. SwiftPOS has an offline mode that allows you to continue making sales even when your internet connection drops. All transactions are stored locally and automatically synced to the cloud when connectivity is restored.
Is the VAT and SSCL calculation automatic?
Yes. SwiftPOS automatically calculates VAT (18%) and SSCL (2.5%) on applicable products. Tax rates are configurable. Monthly and quarterly tax reports are generated in IRD-compatible formats for easy submission.
What is the self-hosted / lifetime plan?
Lifetime plans include a downloadable installation package that you can run on your own server (cPanel/VPS). You pay once and own it forever — no monthly subscription fees. The Enterprise lifetime plan includes the full source code and all future updates for 1 year.
Can customers manage their instalment payments?
Yes! Every instalment customer gets access to a dedicated self-service portal where they can view their repayment schedule, track payments made, see their outstanding balance, download their agreement, and even request early settlement.

What hardware do I need?
SwiftPOS is web-based and works on any computer, tablet, or smartphone with a modern browser. For a full POS setup you'll need: a computer (desktop or laptop), a USB barcode scanner, a thermal receipt printer, and optionally a cash drawer. We provide a hardware recommendations guide.
Is there a mobile app?
